Good point.  The CPU and DSP are much the same in both models, so it's not
as if the V.32bis model lacks the grunt.  However, the EPROM is
surface-mounted (and soldered) from memory, plus I'm sure there are other
major differences which would virtually make such an upgrade difficult, if
not impossible.
