Yeah, I knew it was YARC (yet another Rockwell clone), but not all of them
use the same controller code, and indeed, BIT appear to have a far better
recent reputation for getting it right than NetComm (what a surprise!). 
Just as a matter of interest, there really aren't too many modems available
that AREN'T Rockwell-based (USR, AT&T Paradyne, Motorola's high-end
stuff, etc).
