In the most reecent issue of Bird Breeder Magazine there is an article
about the bird deaths in Florida. Out of the 1000 birds only 335 made it
out alive after not being feed for ten days. And it went on to explaine
how the vet and the feed deliverly guy and other people tried to get the
police to help and they were just sent  in circles. Their was even new
little hatchlings macaws that died. It is really sad. Luckily most or
all of the injured birds that were cribbled for life went to the couple
that has a bird retreat and they will be well taken care of. And all of
the other birds were autioned off to private buyers for pets. They have
still not discovered what had happened to the two owners and their guest
that also disappeared. It just hurts me so much to know that those
beautiful birds had to die in the most cruelest way possible and suffer
like they did. They found alot of the birds with their heads in their
food dishes.
