That takes a bit of planing, particularly now in winter, where the days
are short and the nights long. Finding the right route might be harder to
find then the time? I'm still working on my route to make it safer to ride
for all concerned, as well as interesting. But I'm not training for the
century...> 100 miles is quite a long distance to travel in a day,
but as you are not racing and have plenty of time it shouldn't be impossible.
LR>isn't full of traffic. Someone to do it with would be nice, too.
Yea, that would be nice, but I found in the past, that if I wanted something
doing I do it by myself, or it never will gets done. My wife doesn't ride
a bicycle. Besides, riding a bike is really an activity of an individual
rather then a group.....orgiht oright....Ken'll give me a roasting again...
hehehe......I think it's ok to exchange ideas and experiences, but when
you are out there, you are o n your own.....and you can move according to
your abilities, and whims....

Yes, you are right, they are not that experience, what I'm really
surprised about is the price of some of the bicycle prices and parts
for them.....the sky seems to be the limit....>
LR>cadence. I noticed a message from you in Travel that you want to come
LR>to the US and Canada this summer. Are you going to bring your bike? :-)
Yes, that's true. We are making plans to visit America again. At the
moment we are finalising our travel arrangements. We have now our car
hire lined up for the four month it'll take us to see all the places
we want to see. We'll have to come in summer, although we usually prefere
to travel in the off season. But as we are heading far into the north,
we haven't too much choice, and it has to be summer.... the other one is,
that we don't like large cities very much and try to avoid them whenever
possible.....
LR>I replied but I don't think you got it. What parts of the US are you
LR>going to be in? Any special places you want to see?
No I didn't get your msg. neither was there much response to my msg. I
don't know, but something seems to be not working real well with the
travel echo....you ask if there are any special places we want to visit...
there sure are plenty....hehehe..
The mountains and forests, the prairies and it's wildlife...and the people
at work and leisure....but not any of the man made entertainment facilities
the travel agencies take great pleasure to try to push onto you.....
As you are not giving up to get onto the travel echo, I take it, that you
do like travelling? and no, I'm not bringing my bicycle but might hire
one here and there when convenient. But I'll take special care when seeing
some cycle riders on the road....which of corse I always do....>
Have fun training for your century....
