Hi, in the near furute I have to prepare an essay.  I have to write the
essay about one of the following, it is sort of like a written debate.

1) That the Year of Tolerance will be no more successful in real terms
than the Year of the Family.

2) That pragmatic self-intersets determine world conditions rather
than the idealism of conservationists.

3) The the moral dilemmas created by the use of genetic engineering
have to be reconciled with the advantages to be gained.

4) That Aboriginal land claims are justified as shown by the Mabo
decision and resulting law and in fact will bring fairness to all in
Australia.

5) That truth and justice are myths in our society.

6) That the future of Australia can not be any worse then our recent past.

7) That our system of government and laws does not work - the present can
not be run by the rules of the past.

8) That the republican movement has lost all momentum over the last year.

9) That multiculturalism has failed.

10) That reconciliation between Aboriginal and non-aboriginal Australia is
an impossibility.


These are the topics, and I would greatly appreciate your feedback, which
one do you recommend I do, could you give me the address of where I could
contact an authority for a certain topic to gain precise and recent
