| subject: | DOSDUPHANDLE() and start |
I have a session where the standard in/out handles are duplicated to pipe handles and I need to be able to start independent sessions where the handles are not duplicated. Issuing Dosstartsession, even with the Independent flag set,results in independent sessions with duplicated handles. Aside from switching the handles again before and after issuing( for various reasons this is undesirable in my app) dosstartsession() is there a way to prevent these children from inheriting the duplication? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
