It would best to check with the agricultural extension service
in your area to be sure which pests you need spray for.
The American Garden Guild Book suggests a multipurpose mixture
of 2 tablespoons of captan, 50% W.P.; 2 tablespoon malathion,
25% W.P.; and 3 of methoxychlor, 50% W.P. to a gallon of water
is useful accross the lake in Michigan.
Spray after sundown to avoid damaging bees and other benificial bugs
If you anticipate eating the skins, I would not spray matureing fruit.
Don't forget to use a mask over your mouth and nose to avoid
inhaleing while you are spraying (unless you expect to run to
be elected President 8-).
Ciao, Ack.
