Considering this is* the DOS Internet echo...     It also helps a LOT
to be running DOS, not windows...  ;)  I take precautions, of course,
but this computer isn't* highly shielded, and still I've never been hit
by viruses or spyware...   I agree with you, though, that precautions
and shieldings and all may still not be enough... even in my lowly DOS,
there could still be a virus that would attack.  And I know the same
could hold true also for the *nix-type systems which so far haven't been
targeted, but the possibility always exists.  Eternal vigilence...  :)
