subject: embossing powder

Gail,
GC³ Wipe the paper first with a sheet of anti static fabric like bounce or
flee
GC³ or downy or.... the ones you put in the dryier.... I'm told that makes
the
GC³ paper less likely to have the embossing powder stitch to it....
How would that effect the embossing that you WANT to do on the card? It
sounds like it would work to keep the powder from sticking in the areas
you don't want any ep, but then will it stick in the places you stamped and
want to emboss?
GC³ I gently tap my paper too but there is still that irritaing speckes that
in
GC³ on sticking to the paper...I have a small very pointed paint brush and I
GC³ lightly "brush" them off the paper with the tip... sometimes the flecks
wil
GC³ stick to the brush tip so I then wipe the tip on my arm sleve to remove
the
 GC³ off the brush..
Thats what I do as well. It seems like certain powders cause me more
trouble than others. Like white ep and black ep and Ruby red ep seem to
stick more on the paper. Do you just hate it when your brushing off the
unwanted powder and your brush hits the powder you want to stick? It makes
me so mad and it happens almost all the time.
val..........
