Huh, kinda like OS/2's install program (Selectively install the puzzle
game and go through ALL the disks!)... Also reminds me of Borland's
install programs (Just installing command-line compilers, oh, that will
be ALL disks please!)...
But unlike Windows--"Oh, you want that, sir? Why sure, just give me
disk 3 and disk 5. Thank you."
Moral: Perhaps IBM and Borland and Watcom should learn something from
Microsoft--It's partially the first impression, and the thoughts of
performing a reinstall that makes users like your product... They don't
want to be hassled with tons of disk swapping... (But then Borland
would just send you a form letter with your name on it stating that you
should purchase the CD-ROM, as this is no longer a problem! I can just
see the days when a program spans several CD-ROMs!!!)
