| subject: | BCOS/2 1.5 & C++ Libs |
In a message on 06-28-94, Jeffrey White said to Michael Douglass: JW> ... then no old C++ LIBRARIES (Zinc, Zapp, etc.) would work JW> with the new BCOS/2 1.5. Rule one always have complete source JW> or every library that you use or do not use it. Now you know JW> why . : Psyche! You mean these libraries don't *always* come with source? Suddenly I'm very glad I went to a lot of effort years ago to make my own text-mode windowing library for DOS. It continues to work just dandy with my new WATCOM C++ v10.0 and should work until DOS is spelled D-E-A-D. Can anybody recommend packages that *do* have source, always?
