  If you insure yourself, you have to make sure that you have the
money to cover the insurance, otherwise it's silly. I insure the house
because I don't bet that big, but I don't insure the car. The worst
happened 8 years ago and it cost me $5,000 but I *still* don't insure
the car. With 15 years before and 8 years after, I'm a mile in front. 
It's good, cheap, insurance.
