Hello Wayne -

Broadband is adictive.

WC> Primarily for the Linux upgrades amd ISO images.

The most content linux users I have met over the years (even
back when it was about as 'cool' as MINIX is now) were the ones
who picked a distribution, arranged to get _all_ the
files/source/binaries for that one distribution and then
started tweaking after the initial install.

Eventually they recompiled the kernel once they were certain
what they needed within that kernel and then they sat back and
_used_ what they had created. By that time their hardware was
being referred to as 'obsolete' by those struggling to install
each new distribution with an ever increasing sized kernel.
They just laughed, sat back, and enjoyed their machine/OS. :-)

True but linux CDs can be purchased for as little as $1US each
and as little as $2.50US shipping charges if you know where to
look.

The trend is going in the direction of flashdrives but will be
an expensive option for the next decade (educated guess).
