I like to watch BBC as well and while I refuse to go with the real passgas
service I do use realplayer however I have sygate set to always ask before
letting it out so it only goes where I let it go. I don't restrict media
player 6.4 at all because it's a much better behaved application and
accepts the full range of codecs that I require. I won't allow winamp on my
machine at all..

You can solve your problem by right clicking on "my network" then
pick properties, double click on your network connection, pick properties,
double click on tcp/ip, then check the "use the following DNS server
addresses" and put 216.144.8.10 and 216.144.4.10 in for the addresses.
Those are dns servers that I manage, so if you ever have a problem then you
know who to contact.
As for the attitude at Rogers, tell them to go to
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=nasa.gov
and then explain to you how it's NASA's problem. You might also suggest they look at
http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=rogers.com
as it appears they have a few issues besides having all their name servers
on the same segment..
