     The ones that used standard ASCII characters, look good when viewed with
a "mono-spaced font".  I use Courier font, but Monaco also would work.  In 
future ASCII artwork, you might include a note to this effect.
     The one you posted from an article that appeared in CQ, written by 
8YDF,
 used non-standard characters.  When using the Courier font, it could be
deciphered, but still had some garbage characters.  Some terminal programs
may be able to display these characters correctly, but they might not be
compatible with a text editor.
