Well, the FORTH try seemed to work. But not without some "adjusting" during the install. And after too. The latter was because of my harware setup. It seems that if you are using a seperate HD as your /home/ and even though it is already mounted as such. The correct ownership and permissions are not set properly for a user to login. At least not via the Desktop GUI interface. But if one drops out of the Unity GUI interface down to the trusty command login prompt and logs in. One can then use the chown command (As sudo) to take ownership and permissions back. Then after a reboot one can then login via the desktop GUI interface. Now to get BBBS loading correctly again.
