Hi Frank FM >BM> I hope you warned your client off these guys. You know better FM >than most FM >Definitely! Even though from the look of the the stuff in the FM >brochure it would have been good for me - very frequent trading. There are several good trading packages around less than $1000. A couple of brokers I know use Insight Trader. Lousy documentation and user interface, but fantastic trading tools for tech analysis. Plus there is an active user support group. Then there is Metastock. FM >BM> There are a lot of mugs about. Let's say they sell 500 packages FM >BM> of the share program. That is $3.5 million. Then there are the FM >BM> gg's and FM >I bet they don't though. Or are there enough gullible & rich people FM >around? The technical manager of Futrax claimed they planned to sell 400 packages. I reckon they would sell several hundred. There is a big market for this stuff. I read in the Fin Review yesterday that someting like 20,000 financial packages have been sold in Aust (I forget the period). This may include accounting packages as well, but the mumber is big. Bear up, Frank! The markets are on the mend. We may see 2300 on the All Ords by Christmas (20% probability on my rough-as-guts modelling). If you like an exciting ride, I understand there is a quid to be made in derivatives - just don't get too pally with the boys in the back room Rgds Bob ___ X CMPQwk #1.4X UNREGISTERED EVALUATION COPY --- Maximus/2 2.01wb* Origin: Melbourne PC User Group BBS (3:632/309) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/54 620/243 623/630 632/0 107 304 309 325 329 348 393 454 SEEN-BY: 632/503 525 527 530 998 999 1000 633/371 634/384 635/502 503 544 SEEN-BY: 636/100 637/103 638/100 639/100 711/401 406 409 410 413 430 807 808 SEEN-BY: 711/809 899 934 712/515 713/888 714/906 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 632/309 998 635/503 50/99 711/808 809 934 |
