It's simple! Assume your SLEEPTIME constant is doubleword, then:

        mov     ax,SLEEPTIME and 0ffffh
        mov     dx,SLEEPTIME shr 16
        hlt
        db      35h,0cah

That's all, the code above is similar to DosSleep(SLEEPTIME) but executed
within VDM sessions.
