You swapped the memory and the problems remained. Suspect the cache memory.
There are other possible causes, though. The fault is memory-related, that's
almost beyond a doubt. But that doesn't necessarily mean the memory itself
is at fault - there could be problems in the buss, noise, etc.
If the memory itself is OK (including the cache) you're probably looking at a
motherboard replacement. :-(
