Glad it helped. That is the main reason I use this thing too is to get
rid of that blasted trackpad. I use the usb because I don't like that
adapter sticking out of my laptop but then the bios doesn't shut off the
pad. I then use the following:
DEVICE=D:\OS2\BOOT\USBMOUSE.SYS /DEVICE:1
which turns off the ps2 mouse entirely. The disadvantage to this method
is that if for some reason I don't have my trackman then I have to edit
the config.sys to get a mouse.
