On the 14/04/96, Brenton waffled to Dieter.. Hello Brenton, DM> PS Did you find that PAS stuff ? I've searched high and low and BV> I've found a file which I *think* contains the latest PAS stuff. Seems to be current - MV's BBS leaves a lot to be desired. Nothing of any use there at all. BV> It is called PRO_STUD.ZIP and I have sent it up with this PKT. BV> I have asked Paul to file attach it for you, so you may already have BV> it by now. Yeah, I got it. Many ta's. Could you please give me an indication of what the command switches are ? device=d:\proaudio.new\mvsound.sys d:3 q:7 s:1,220,1,5 m:0 j:1 t:1 especially those after the s:. I guess that they are for the sound blaster portion, but there are two 1's, so which is the DMA channel ? Also the "m" and "t" I'm having a problems with noise hash with a couple of kiddie programs, maths rescue and word rescue. I've had it working in the past, though on a different PC, but same PAS card. Prolly something to do with the command line switches. All other SB programs work OK. BV> Things went prety well last night. I got Win-95 and NT Server 3.51 BV> installed and I don't think I lost anything in the process. Lucky wot! It's really piss-easy :-) I've installed Win 95 about 4 times, on different machines with no or minimal problems. Ditto for OS/2 as well. Though I've yet to do a network install for Warp. Should be an interesting learning experience..... Thanks again Dieter ... I haven't lost my mind; it's backed up on tape somewhere! ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 @EOT: ---* Origin: Mirbachs MadPoint (3:711/934.8) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
