This language is curious. It seems that no claims are being made
for increased achievement. We could expose my cats to the worm
theory of parallel universes in an improved fashion. Wouldn't do
much good, however.
In our system, the courses may be _called_ pre algebra and
algebra, but the actual content is a different matter. Some of
the old timers are in trouble with the administration for the
student failure rates. I'm going to check out their web site and
see if any real research has been done to evaluate to success of
the program.
