No, I read about the read as text option in the SP2 changes but I was
assuming that since this was already on every fully patched machine because
of IEsp1 that what they were saying was that it would be enabled by default
in XPsp2. However upon re-reading the changes it doesn't say that so I'm
unclear why it's even mentioned.

The new feature I suspect you read about is external content blocking
like that available in Outlook 2003 and MSN 9. Or maybe someone who wrote
whatever it is that you read but have not identified made a mistake. You
make lots of false claims yourself so I can't judge whether this is you or
someone else.

Are you saying XPsp2 isn't going to enable this feature (read as text) by
default? Why is it even listed as a feature of XPsp2 then since it's been
available for months as part of IE6sp1 and is already on any fully patched
system?

I read that aliens are living among us on Earth. I also read that the
Earth was flat.

No
matter what George may prefer, virtually no one uses read as text and
virtually no one has an email cert. The intersection is even smaller.
Take
your concern about yourself. Do you have an email cert on your machine?
If
you do, where is the private key stored?<<
It seems to me I was just reading a week or two ago that the next
version
of
OE is going to have read as text enabled by default, no?
