I do not want an application to make it difficult for me to
have several versions of OS/2 on my PC - no application
should write to the OS2.INI file.

The private INI file can be used to allow multiple
configurations for an application if it is not put in the
search path, but placed in the working directory.

Also applications need installation programs that will just
install the application on the desktop if the files are
already on the hard disk.
