Fido does indeed have an interesting history. And of course you are right
in that the facts in the history books should not be diluted by political

That information does not belong in P4. It is irrelevant noise.

That information should be in the history book of FidoNet if someone would
care to update that. During he the life of FidoNet various people have
written historical articles for the snooze.

I suggest you peruse the snooze archivs amnd wriye a follow up of you want
update the history of FidoNet.
