This is not a PC correct answer- therefore not true . My four 
kids prove this to me.  
However, just because a kid may not be a high achiever in a given 
area, it does not follow that the kid is not a high achiever. My 
son (possibly due to high fever as a youngster) has a minor short 
term memory problem and stinks at math. He nevertheless will 
complete a certificate of merit program, advanced placement 
courses, and has landed a cooperative job in a high tech field. 
His language and comprehension abilities will be used to abstract 
research and information from the internet.
