Thanks, Geo. I went to the netsecurity link but it doesn't have a date.
The security focus link has a bit more info (including a time frame
(June/July last year).
I don't know enough to know if it was a minor or major issue but you're
certainly right about the way Zone Labs handled it -- temporarily, at
least, attempting to be lamer than Real.
I'm at 4.5.538 so I presume that I've got the fix.
As an aside ... I know you (and quite a few others here) don't like Real.
I like listening to the BBC which uses a Real stream so I'm unable to go
completely "un-Real" but I have noticed that there are some
alternatives to Real. I haven't gone there, but just in case you might be
interested, I thought I'd pass that info along.
One final thing: Rogers is saying that the issue lies with NASA (!). I
offered them your services for a day (at the usual "exhorbitant but
fair and competitive" rate plus all expenses). They were not amused.
