PT>If your using pcboardm toss your mail and if you got more then 1 PT>megabyte of outgoing mail how long is it taking to proccess it? A few seconds. It depends upon the number of messages and the size of the message base. This is as long as the PC I run it on has the files stored on a local drive, not a network drive. I have a Windows 2000 server that holds all of PCBoard's files and message base. I run tossing jobs on the server. They run very quick there. Once in awhile I will kick the batch jpb off manually from a workstation and then tossing occurs across the network. That takes longer on some echoes with very large message bases, where I keep a year's worth of messages. How long are you keeping your messages and do you run a regular job to purge them down to something manageable ?
