An RSS client is effectively an XML based news delivery system. Several
sites, including the Washington Post, CNET, InfoWorld, and others have XML
interfaces that allow clients to check their sites for published
headlines. The client then downloads those headlines, and you can review
a very brief summary. If you want to read the full article, there is
usually a link that you can click to pull up the article in a web browser.
