| subject: | Text mode video RAM |
Hi! How do you access text mode video RAM in 32-bit OS/2? I'm using GNU's GCC/2 compiler, although I ordered Watcom 10 last week. If there are any differences, I'd like to know how to do it in both. I know how to do it in DOS with Pascal - by directly writing to addresses relative to $B800:0000. I'm fairly new to both C and OS/2 programming, but if someone could just write a simple program to display, say, a blue letter 'A' in the fifth position of video memory, I think I could take it from there. Thanks! Also, how do you move the cursor to a different location and change the size of the cursor? Do the INT 10h BIOS interrupts work in OS/2 programs? Thanks.... ___ X ATP/OS2 1.42 X The Clintonizer.
