Hello everyone...
    This is update message number 1 regarding my computer problems... As
those of you who have read about my problems and have tried to help me,
you are aware that there are many problems...
    I am grateful for all suggestions given to me about what might be
the cause of these problems, but so far, not so good... One of the
suggestions given to me I have tried out... that suggestion was to take
memory out of one system and replace it in the problematic system, and
see how that goes... if problem is gone, simple bad simms is the
result...
    I have tried that, and unfortunately I must say that it did no
good... the problems remained, and well, for the first time bootup with
that memory, it resulted in an "EMM386 unrecoverable error #00" problem.
However, this appeared only once...
    Prior to this message, I posted an "updated" listing of my
problems... I have removed #8, which pertained to the motherboard
reporting a pci IDE controller. It has been explained to me as to why
this is... however, I have added other problems, like the 'error #00'
and the problem of the system "rebooting" itself at times when trying to
load programs...
    All in all, I am grateful for all the help so far, and hopefully
with your help, I'll be able to get rid of these problems and return to
100% operation on my bbs and off...
    Now, my question to you is, what's my next action??
