SFA states up front that the only thing they can do in the way of site
assistance is to explain the insurance to the land owner. They don't
offer or imply anything else other than moral support. AMA on the
other hand is rift with implication that they will help. The AMA "Find
a Field" package is for the most part out of date and useless. AMA
would not even join our letter campaign to local officials seeking help
and we notified EVERY Officer and the Exec Director. All we got back
was a single courtesy call and lip service from an individual we didn't
even contact.
I'm not trying to say AMA should have found us a field but was
it too much for them to write our local officials and urge them to help
us? In a nut shell AMA blew off my club. Perhaps you continue to take
your car to an inept mechanic but, I find a new mechanic or learn to do
it myself.
