They are very adaptable. Basically, the Dorrough Loudness Meter is
a LED ladder, but can be shaped like a traditional analog VU meter,
(as in an arc shape) and show simultaneously, the PPM (with peak 
hold), and the RMS (with adjustable ballistics). In my opinion, they 
are the absoloute *best* meters in the business, but (like P+G faders)
, they are very expensive. Take care.
