This probably won't help you, but as a former Borland C++ user, I've stayed
with Borland MAKE, because (A) all of my make files are in Borland MAKE
format, and (B) Watcom WMAKE doesn't support the conditional statements (!if,
!endif, etc.) found in Borland MAKE... and I use those conditional statements
quite heavily, especially with multi-platform projects.
