        Thanks for the  reply.  I called the ad about the sun conures and 
they are handfed babies.  Couldn't believe it.  Figured they were old birds.  
Anyway, he has 2 that are 6 mo. old and weaned for 2 mo. but still in the 
aviary and 3 that are 4 wks. old, so won't be ready for awhile.  Since they 
are handfed, would the 6 mo. old ones still tame back down or would I be 
better to wait?  Would it affect their talking ability?  Do both sexes talk 
or just one?  My African Grey loves to talk to other birds and helps teach 
them to talk.  It's really something to hear him repeat it over and over for 
them!  He's so smart; but he was never hand tamed and can really bite and 
he's pretty much a one person bird even now.  He's a real personality.  I was 
told I couldn't put the sun with the lovebird, so need to get rid of the 
lovebird.  I'm going to call my cousin and see if she wants him.  He's so 
neat, but she has one and so he may be happier there.
        How do you teach a bird not to be noisy?  He/she would be in the 
living room so can't have the constant screaming.  But he'd have plenty of
