Given FO between exchanges, that extra 10dBm can only be due to the line between Paul and his own exchange being pretty piss-poor, as I already suspected. RS> Recv/Xmit Level (-dBm) 30.4/13.0 RS> SNR ( dB ) 36.8 I'd love to see those same stats with a Courier on Paul's end too. The Rx level is around 5-7dB better than my own stats to Paul, but still shitty. RS> Usual nutty close to 10db vertical shift of the whole curve. Yeah, dunno whether to blame the USR-Rockwell syndrome (which gave a 5dB shift in my tests), or Paul's lines. Or maybe ~5dB for each might be fairer. Have you tried calling any other Couriers yet, like Poe for example?
