RS>I'm new here, but have been reading your conference for a month or so. I
RS>get this conference from Keymaker's Corner, Ponce de Leon, Florida
RS>(904)836-8853 (1:3674/1). Hope this helps.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for the info!
RS>a whole houseful. I recently got a pair (we hope not the same sex!) of
RS>fantail pigeons. I know nothing about them. I realize these are not
RS>parrots, but if anyone has any information about them they'd like to
hare,
RS>I would sure appreciate it! I can't even find a book showing the
ifferent
RS>kinds and colors.
I know NOTHING about pigeons, but if I see any books, I'll let you know.
>I saw an ad for sun conures this week for $175. Couldn't
RS>believe the price, but I've heard them yell and don't know if I could
tand
RS>the noise or not. Are they as noisy as I hear they are?
They certainly CAN be noisy, but a single conure kept as a pet CAN be
taught not to be quite so loud. It takes time and patience, but it can
be done.
RS>but Patty is definitely a Patrick! He's so pretty - yellow with the peach
RS>face and turquo ise between the wings.
A lutino? I can't keep all the various lovebird mutations straight.
There's too much to remember, and I don't have any lovebirds, so it just
doesn't seem to stick with me!
