FM> AAMOI there were a number of CRC errors in that 300k+ d/l, recovered fine. PE> They are a worry. No idea what they are. I check what happened PE> to Rod, and he got 1 meg of mail with not a single CRC error. I keep forgetting to deliberately try to cause some errors to see if FroDo does actually report any at my end at the ZedZap protocol level. Not that easy to actually force some CRC errors tho so havent yet. I think you might well find that there is a significant correlation between those running Win and those getting CRC errors. Its a bit twitchy with interrupt latency and DOS comms apps. PE> I will be changing software here soon, so that PE> will at least eliminate that from the equation. Have you ever actually listed who gets CRCs and who never has ? @EOT: ---* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
