The LOLcats and scantily clad "animorphs" on the internet were
started by a website called 4Chan. That website was founded by a 15 y/o
(now just over 21) boy. The forum that started it all on 4Chan is known as
/b/ and is known for some very weird stuff. Some of the stuff found there
is extremely disturbing and close to criminal.

Most of the millions (yes millions) of posters on /b/ are in the early 20s
at the oldest. It is indeed creepy for a 50-ish man to be interested in
such things.
