G'day, Chris...
I just noticed your note regarding tower cases that could hold
6x5¬" drives & 2x3«" drives...
CMM> 3) If this can't be done - anyone have a tower case
CMM> that would take say -
CMM> 6 x 5.25 inch removeable media bays
CMM> 2 x 3.5 inch removeable media bays
I recently purchased a case resembling that description from a
company called ArchCom in Tempe, Sydney, for not much more than $150.
It has a total of 10 drive bays, 6 being 5¬" & 4 3«"
(2 externally accessable, & 2 internal). The trick though, is that the
6th 5¬" bay doesn't have a removable panel like the others do - if you
want to make use of it (like I did), you need to get yourself a decent
Stanley knife or jewellers' blade saw & remove the panel permanently.
They are wholesalers, so I doubt you'll be able to buy directly
from them, but I'm sure if you give them a call on (02) 558-9288 they'll
give you the details of your nearest reseller.
Have fun!
- Bob.
