I wonder if you are right? If we all drove EVs now then the vested interests
therein would surely see to it that the interloper was squashed, real fast!!
The roads we had, would be quite unsuited to IC auto performance. Think of
he
tax burden to straighten out and widen the narrow, tight curvature roads that
suit EVs. There wouldn't be any gas stations. Imagine the capital costs of
building these to meet the new demands. And the wasted investment in charging
equipment. The loss of jobs in EV factories. The rapid increase in the
unfamiliar stink of urban exhaust emissions. The rapid recognition of
respiratory diseases and cancers, following the "overnight" success of IC
engined autos.
Nah. Not overnight!!
And as your thesis precludes there ever having been one Henry Ford, would we
have evolved to mass production....... or would we be a more civilised,
responsible, considerate world community now??
HOMEPOWER- small homes, small energy consumption, if you want to go some
lace
then walk or get on yer bike! Cheers......ALEC
... Me drive? I'll take the train as the good Lord intended! ^oo oo^oo
