TW>And it is the White v.90 Sporster. The the v.92 Model is Black. Tom, I didn't know that the White Sportsters were v.90. I have a White external 56K Sportster Fax/Modem with the number USR5686D on the bottom of it. I thought it was a v.92 modem when I bought it. So I turned it on to give it a ati7 command in Hyperterminal and under Configuration Profile... - Options it lists: V32bis, V.80, V.34+, x2, V.90, V.92 I first tried looking at the setting in Control Panel - Modem - Diagnostics - More Info but the right hand side of the Options line was cut off, so I had to fire up Hyperterminal to view the WHOLE line. ;-) I'm just wanting to add to the discussion, I'm not wanting to begin a argument about White vs. Black Sportsters being or not being V.90 or V.92. * SLMR 2.1a * BASIC : Beginner's All-purpose Sloppy Instruction Code. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
