subject: Hello!

* Ron Baker got everyone's attention by mumbling this to Peter Fitzsimmons:

 PF> Moderator,  OS2PROG.

 RB> I see you are the Moderator of OS2PROG what do we need to do to get
 RB> OS2PRO split up in say OS2C_C++, OS2_REXX, OS2_RELIZ now that OS/2 is
 RB> taking off don't you think this would be a good Idea?

I don't, personally. For one thing, the traffic in OS2PROG isn't heavy
enough to warrant splitting the topics. For another, languages in OS/2 seem
to compliment each other very well; interoperability between languages is
more common, and workable, in OS/2 than it ever was in DOS (especially with
REXX). For that reason alone, I'd prefer that OS2PROG remain a
"melting pot"
for OS/2 programming, at least for now. (There *is* an echo called OS2REXX,
but I've never seen it.)

... I went to court for a parking ticket. I pleaded insanity.
