I haven't receieved Watcom v10 yet, so I'm not sure how you EXACTLY do
it. But here is my guess:
Rename the E.EXE file to EOLD.EXE or something.
Rename the QEDIT/2 file to E.EXE and see if it works.
Yes, it's rather a kludge, but it might just work! :>
