Hi, Bob.

BL> BL> It's crazy. I think it makes more sense to upgrade once a year,

BL> FM> I think 3 months is just fine. New stuff is coming out all the
BL> FM> time - that February update was 900+k! Although the update
BL> FM> itself seems to be only 300+K, they've included a new version
BL> FM> of the update and viewing programs and related files as well,
BL> FM> which accounts for the rest.

BL> It's extremely well organised...

So I believe.

BL> FM> I believe Delphi only started appearing in SWAG in late '95,
BL> FM> maybe the 08 or 11 updates.

BL> I've been going through the old ones looking for gems, and all the
BL> things I've been complianing about are in there (delete, rename,
BL> string routines, strip spaces, etc) but it's hard work just finding
BL> it... especially when someone else comes along in 6 months and claims
BL> there is a better way.

A lot of those I've written too, they all live in my USEFUL.PAS library,
currently 1200+ lines of code. I usually don't bother updating to a
"better" version if/when I see one unless there's some good reason to do
so.

Regards, FIM.
