The last time I believed that I was onto a winner was when my
friend in Grade 3/4 told me there was a creek with heaps of
tropical fish there, and I got precise numbers of Mollies, Neon
Tetras etc etc out of him, and I was going to be a millionaire
in no time flat.  When I actually went there, there was a small
creek, stagnant maybe too, don't even recall seeing any common
old guppies, I cut myself on some metal of some sort, and that
was the end of that dream.

I don't stand by creeks (or mailboxes) built by other people 
anymore.

I am shocked.  Most people just give up when they're so obviously
cornered, and pretend they didn't see the question.  Like I'm still
waiting for a list of a single terminal or comms program that expects
ATZ to change the speed, and so the comms program automatically
changes too.  You can see the tounge-tiedness and grumpy/sad face 
from 1000km away.

Only dial Dave twice a day, but yeah, I'm not spending any money
usually.  A little bit of electricity which I would have been
spending anyway, a phone rental which I would otherwise probably not 
had, but in the main yeah, I'm not spending any money.

Yes Russell, that's how the world works.  If you want something, you
pay for it yourself.  Or am I mean to be ringing up Brenton every

It's bloody selfish to answer my phone when it rings, in order to
provide answers to the caller's question.  Truly dumbfounding.
However, the unexpected answer to my question has actually landed 
me in trouble, because I'm now in one of those positions (hi Bill),
where the argument is so obvious that I don't know how to explain
it, catch-22 and all that.
