That's mostly what Neil said. I disagree. All we need is a real leader,
and we can beat both Clinton and Dole.
How long did it take the Republicans to "build their power base" in the
1850s? Maybe 2 years. When the time is right - and in my view that's now
- you don't have to "build" anything.
I don't have much against Dole at this point, except that he isn't
dynamic and I really don't know what he stands for. As I've said to Neil,
Dole might change my mind by November, but I'm not betting on it.
