In my test of the USR sportster Knoppix auto-detected the modem
connected to Com2 and I didn't have to set it. This was using a 3.6 CD.
NOW on another machine test it didn't auto detect the Creative External.
But neither did the Linspire Live CD setup.
LINUX still has a very LONG ways to go to be Friendly enough for the
Typical Home Computer User.
