Here you would be talking about the courts, not the entities in the example.
I know that you aren't hinting that parents are bound by this, and you didn't
address the other example, a school administrative punishment. You would be
talking strictly about the courts and punishment dealt by the courts, not
other entities. Double jeopardy for this discussion is the wrong tag anyway.
