Hi Paul,

 PE> RG> Do you have Jiffy-Dos ROM's installed in your computer ?
PE> No, you only get that if you buy the RAM expansion.

Not so.
Jiffy-Dos ROM's have been around for years before Ramlink ever saw the
light of day.. In fact Jiffy-Dos is where the CMD mob started out. It
is still their biggest selling product.

PE> RG> The Jiffy-Dos roms will increase the
PE> RG> loading times of most programs by
 PE> RG> 5-7 times.
 PE>
PE> Even then, I'd have to load Jiffy-Dos,
PE> and then load wizard of wor! Like all

Not so... JiffyDos is a replacement ROM chip to go inside the computer
(and disk drives if required). The HD already has the neccesary ROM so
you only need the chip for the computer.

There is nothing to load, because all they have done is re-write the
C64/128 Kernal chips to get rid of the grossly inefficient code that
CBM used. It is transparent to use, and as well as faster disk access
it has an inbuilt DOS wedge and file copier.

Well worth having.. IMO *all* C64/128 users should have this upgrade.
You should be able to obtain the ROM from the same place you got the
HD.

Cheers
Rod
